The purpose of the foundation certification is to help you understand how decisions impact good/bad cyber resilience. It has a comprehensive approach across all areas and teachesyou how to make good cyber resilience an efficient part of business and operational management.
RESILIA Foundation level is a three-day/20-hour course which teaches you how operational decisions can have an impact on good cyber resilience. It shows how nurturing cyber resilience can support operational effectiveness and organizational resilience.
Target Audience
The qualification is aimed at professionals with responsibility for IT and security functions or risk and compliance operations within an organization.
Other core business areas including HR, Finance, Procurement, Operations and Marketing, will also benefit from having cyber resilience expertise within their teams, often including a local champion or mentor for all staff to refer to.
The RESILIA Foundation certification provides an introduction to the key terms and benefits associated with cyber resilience and will enable you to demonstrate they understand and recognize best practice and know how to manage and address cyber risks.

Purpose of the Practitioner Certification
The purpose of the Practitioner certification is to help you understand what effective cyber resilience looks like and the risks and issues that can easily affect cyber resilience. Candidates will understand how to get the best balance of risk, cost, benefits and flexibility within an organization.
RESILIA Practitioner level is a two-day/15-hour course which equips individuals with the practical skills needed to achieve the best balance of risk, cost, operational benefits and flexibility within their organization.
Target Audience
The certification is aimed at professionals with responsibility for IT and security functions or risk and compliance operations within an organization.
Other core business areas including HR, Finance, Procurement, Operations and Marketing, will also benefit from having cyber resilience expertise within their teams.
The RESILIA Practitioner certification teaches the practical skills needed to apply effective and beneficial cyber resilience, building on the understanding and demonstration of cyber resilience provided by the RESILIA Foundation qualification.
Prerequisites
- To take the RESILIA Practitioner examination, you must hold a current RESILIA Foundation certificate.
Booking an Exam where prerequisites apply
Please ensure that before you book an exam where a prerequisite is required, that you hold verified proof of completion of that prerequisite (i.e. certificate, or letter from AXELOS or former Examination Institute confirming you hold a current certification). Your examination results will be withheld until the correct prerequisite is provided to PeopleCert. If you are unable to provide the required prerequisite, then you will need to successfully complete the prerequisite before the higher-level exam result is released.
