Jira Service Desk

A client of ours wishes to replace their ageing and no longer supported ITSM tool with Jira Service Desk, despite it being a help desk tool rather than an ITSM tool. While looking at Jira Service Desk I have noticed that along with other things, it does not include a CMDB - an add-on would have to be installed to use a CMDB with it.
Does anyone have any experience of using Jira Service Desk and an add-on for CMDB and the other functionality that JSD lacks?
we use Jira Service Desk and for CMDB we use Insight - Asset Management by Riada. It can be easily integrated with processes you develop in Jira SD. Just give it a try. If you have additional questions, let me know. We're just happy customers :)
Try using trello for it. It also provides a wide variety of features which are constantly updated. However, if the client/ organization demands for the use of JIRA, try going for the premium version.
