My AXELOS

Anyone can subscribe to My AXELOS. You will need to select which subscription you want to join – My ITIL®, My PRINCE2® or My MSP®.  
Only individuals that hold ITIL^®, PRINCE2^® or MSP^® certifications can claim a digital badge.

My AXELOS is open to practitioners globally, but the platform and content is currently only available in English.

Anyone can join My AXELOS, but in order to claim a digital badge you must hold an ITIL^®, PRINCE2^® or MSP^® certification.

When joining, you will be asked to provide the candidate number for the certification that you wish to register with. You can skip this stage if you have not yet taken your exam or if you do not have your candidate details to hand.

If you wish to claim a badge then we will verify your certification by matching your details against the AXELOS Successful Candidates Register (SCR).

To join My AXELOS you will need to set up an account with us on AXELOS.com. Once you have registered, you can subscribe and choose your membership subscription – My ITIL, My PRINCE2 or My MSP.

New ITIL Foundation, Intermediate and Practitioner certificate-holders and PRINCE2 Practitioner and PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner certificate-holders can claim one year subscription with their certificate. AXELOS will email candidates with details on how to subscribe.

If you have an ITIL, PRINCE2 or MSP certification you can add this to your account by providing your candidate number which we will validate against our Successful Candidates Register.

You can also choose to skip this step and add these details at a later date. You can only claim a digital badge if you have linked your certificate to your account. Please visit the My AXELOS page to subscribe./p

A My AXELOS costs £50. The cost of a subscription for a second certification is £30 and just £20 for a third. Please note your subscription/s is subject to VAT.

Mey AXELOS runs on an annual basis. So your subscription will expire 12 months after your initial payment on registration. If you have registered more than one subscription, you may have a different renewal date for each.

My AXELOS subscriptions are open to anyone, although only individuals who hold an ITIL^®, PRINCE2^® or MSP^® qualification will be able to claim a digital badge.

However, if you hold an ITIL V1 or V2 and/or an expired PRINCE2 or MSP qualification, you cannot include coaching or mentoring as part of your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities towards claiming a digital badge. Instead your submission must reflect practical application of knowledge in a professional capacity i.e. undertaking a comprehensive body of work within your profession that adopts and adapts best practice into the workplace.

In order to be able to add your certification to your AXELOS.com user profile, you will need your candidate number and your certification has to appear on AXELOS’ Successful Candidates Register (SCR). Please check that your certification is listed here displaying your name, candidate number, certification level and date correctly.

You will receive an email reminder from AXELOS notifying you that your subscription is about expire. You will be asked to make an online payment by logging in to your AXELOS.com user account.

Yes. You need to be a subscriber, have verified your certificate against the Successful Candidate Register and have logged 20 points of CPD activities for either of the following certifications: ITIL^®, PRINCE2^® or MSP^® to be able to claim a digital badge.

You can add additional subscriptions to your My AXELOS subscription at any time including ITIL^®, PRINCE2^® and MSP^®.

You will be required to complete Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities against each subscription, but if activities are relevant to each, they may be used across multiple subscriptions.

The first subscription costs £50 but subsequent subscriptions are offered at a discounted rate costing, £30 for a second subscription and just £20 for the third. Please note the My AXELOS subscription/s is subject to VAT.

From 1 January 2018, PeopleCert is AXELOS' sole Examination Institute (EI).  If you took your exam with an EI that is no longer in operation or no longer hosts any AXELOS examinations, you will need to follow the procedure below to find your candidate number.

To display your certifications and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) digital badge on your profile, you need to change the settings on your User Details page.

Select the Public Profile tab and tick the box labelled Publish profile.

PRINCE2 Practitioner and PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner certificates expire every three years. The purpose of re-taking the exam every three years is to ensure that your PRINCE2^® knowledge is up-to-date. Completing CPD activities and earning a digital badge provides an alternative way to demonstrate this relevancy. It is up to you to decide which method best suits your professional needs.

AXELOS’ Successful Candidates Register (SCR) provides details of any candidates who have previously passed an AXELOS examination and have opted in to have their details displayed. The AXELOS’ system uses the register to cross-reference and verify candidates’ certifications before adding these to their profile.

Candidates can choose to opt out of this public listing if they wish when they register for their examination with their Examination Institute. Please note that this register is maintained by our Examination Institute (PeopleCert) and AXELOS staff cannot amend the data held on it.

If you are concerned that your certification is not appearing, has the wrong details or if you do not know your candidate number, please contact PeopleCert directly.

If you completed your exam with another Examination Institute (Acquiros, APMG, BCS, EXIN, Loyalist), or you are unsure which Examination Institute you completed your exam with, please contact [email protected].

Your certification will not be listed if you have not opted in to being added to AXELOS’ Successful Candidates Register (SCR) when you took your examination. If you did not opt in to the SCR, please note that there is a processing period for adding your certification to the SCR of typically 6-8 weeks − this is determined by your Examination Institute − so if you attained the certification recently, this may be why it has not yet appeared on the register.

If you completed your exam with another Examination Institute (Acquiros, APMG, BCS, EXIN, Loyalist), or you are unsure which Examination Institute you completed your exam with, please contact [email protected].

If your certification does not appear on AXELOS’ Successful Candidates Register (SCR), you will have to contact the Examination Institute with whom you sat your examination and ask for your candidate number and certification to be uploaded to AXELOS’ SCR. There might be a processing time of several weeks depending on your Examination Institute, please confirm with them when contacting. Please note that Examination Institutes have their own in-house registers, therefore you have to specifically ask to be added to AXELOS’ SCR.

Your candidate number is a unique number your Examination Institute allocated to you when you registered for your exam. It should be displayed on your examination certificate. You will need this to register your certification on your AXELOS user account.

From 1 January 2018, PeopleCert is AXELOS' sole Examination institute, so you can contact them directly if you need to find out your candidate number.

 

Your candidate number should be displayed on your examination certificate (but this is not always the case). If you cannot find your candidate number, you should contact the Examination Institute (EI) with whom you sat your exam directly, AXELOS does not have access to candidate information. From 1 January 2018, PeopleCert is AXELOS' sole EI.

Please note that we hold candidate numbers on our Successful Candidates Register (SCR), but these are anonymized using "***" to obscure some of the characters, ensuring your data is protected. The purpose of the register is not to determine your candidate number, but to check whether your details are held on our system. Please do not copy and paste your candidate number from the SCR into any other web pages on our site, as it will not be recognized.

Whilst the vast majority of certificates will contain your candidate number, if you are missing this information you will need to go back to the Examination Institute (EI) with whom you sat your exam. The name or logo of your Exam Institute will appear on your certificate. From 1 January 2018, PeopleCert is AXELOS' sole EI.

If you completed your exam with another EI (Acquiros, APMG, BCS, EXIN, Loyalist), or you are unsure which Examination Institute you completed your exam with, please contact [email protected].

When you enter your candidate number to add a certification to your user profile, our systems check that the name on your certification that appears on the Successful Candidates Register (SCR) and the name you have used for creating your AXELOS user profile are the same. Please ensure that the two names match. If your name is wrong on the SCR entry, you will have to contact your Examination Institute to amend it. If your name is incorrect on your user profile, you can update this in your personal details in your AXELOS account.

Please be aware that you can subscribe to membership without linking your certification to your account but you will have to link it at a later date if you wish to claim a digital badge.

In January 2015, the European Union (EU) issued new rules for value added tax (VAT) on the supply of digital services by businesses to consumers in the EU.

My AXELOS subscriptions are delivered online and classified as a digital service. Your VAT charge will reflect the country in which you are based.

PeopleCert will provide you with a unique, single-use voucher code. Follow the online instructions to subscribe to My AXELOS on AXELOS.com. When you reach the payment page, enter your code and click 'Apply'. A 100% discount will be applied to your purchase.

If you wish to have more than one subscription then you will need to purchase additional voucher codes as you require one code per subscription.

Follow the online instructions to subscribe to My AXELOS on AXELOS.com. When you reach the payment page, enter the code and click 'Apply' and your subscription will be discounted. If you wish to have multiple subscriptions, the discount will be applied to each.

The My AXELOS subscription is non-refundable due to the immediate availability of downloads, resources and other benefits. You can cancel your subscription at any time, but you will lose any digital badge/s you may have claimed as the badge is dependent on your continuous subscription.

You will need to contact the Examination Institute (EI) and request a refund. Please note you will only be given a refund if the voucher code has not been redeemed. If you have already used the voucher code to subscribe to My AXELOS you are not entitled to a refund.
