Q4 2015 - Consolidated Regional Examination Data

In its first year AXELOS was very much focused on listening to our community to better understand the market and exploring opportunities to develop the Global Best Practice portfolio. In 2015, listening turned to action and it proved to be a very eventful year, with two major product launches, PRINCE2 Agile® and RESILIA™, as well as the launch of the AXELOS Professional Development Programme.

AXELOS has maintained the momentum from 2015 into the New Year, with the launch of the much anticipated ITIL® Practitioner guidance, examination and official qualification. ITIL Practitioner provides individuals with practical guidance on ‘how’ to adopt and adapt the ITIL® framework and puts the factual knowledge of ITIL Foundation into a more practical context.

The new qualification has been very well received by the ITSM community and the feedback from both trainers and candidates has been very positive. The number of courses currently being advertised by our accredited training partners and the early publication sales indicate that the new qualification is capable of fulfilling its potential. We are currently translating the guidance and examination into French, German and Japanese so ITIL Practitioner can be adopted and adapted across the globe to ensure ITIL remains the most widely accepted approach to IT service management in the world.

In the second quarter of the year we will be launching new additions to the RESILIA best practice portfolio, with the introduction of RESILIA Awareness Learning and the RESILIA Pathway Tool. RESILIA Awareness learning provides all staff within an organization with knowledge, skills and the confidence they need to embed cyber resilient behaviours across the entire organization. The RESILIA Pathway Tool will provide a highly interactive and graphical overview of best practice – built on the lifecycle approach from ITIL. The tool will enable organizations to understand their current cyber resilience capability and provide a pathway to improvement.

We will continue to promote our core PPM products throughout the year to expand the geographical reach of PRINCE2® and PRINCE2 Agile into new and developing markets, with a specific focus on Japan and North America.

AXELOS is also planning more additions to the AXELOS Professional Development Programme to add further value to members and help increase practitioner’s appetite for continual learning and development in best practice. We will also be working with our partners and community to implement a strategy within academia to help ensure the leaders of tomorrow are adequately equipped with the knowledge and skills they need and recognise the value of best practice frameworks.

AXELOS would like to thank all of our stakeholders for their continued support and collaboration and we look forward to working closely with you throughout 2016.
