In our webinar (you can view the recording below), ITIL® Expert Peter Brooks discusses how service portfolio management can help organizations monitor their goals.

Service Portfolio management provides an ideal control mechanism for managing and evaluating the vision and objectives of an organization. It allows the governors to make informed decisions about the direction of the organization without having to manage the services themselves.

Presented by ITIL expert and author of the upcoming AXELOS publication, Adopting Service Governance: Governing portfolio value for sound corporate citizenship, Peter Brooks BSc (FSM®), chair (joint) of the Ethics Committee at King's College Hospital Clinics in Abu Dhabi, the session explores the ways in which an organization can be governed by the service portfolio. By designing the service portfolio as the overarching management system, it becomes possible to compare services for the value they bring to the business.

Peter also discusses how good governance can add value and how to measure value, as well as the organizational culture needed to ensure services are aligned to business value.

This webinar is hosted in conjunction with the upcoming launch of the new ITIL publication from AXELOS, Adopting Service Governance: Governing portfolio value for sound corporate citizenship.
