Axelos appoints new Chief Customer Officer

Today Axelos Global Best Practice announced that Catherine Newman has been appointed as new Chief Customer Officer. Catherine joins the Executive Leadership Team and will be responsible for all business development, sales and marketing activities, while also looking after Axelos’ global network of over 1,500 partners in over 150 countries.
Catherine has worked within the education sector both globally and in the UK for over 25 years. She joins Axelos from Pearson where she was, most recently, Director for Sales and Partnerships for the BTEC and Apprenticeships Division. Prior to her tenure at Pearson, Catherine worked for Hachette Education as the Chief Operating Officer of the Children’s Division, as well as the Group Sales and Marketing Director of their Education Division.
Catherine Newman said: "I’m very much looking forward to working with Axelos. They are currently full steam ahead working on a number of great projects, such as the much-anticipated launch of ITIL 4 and an upcoming release of a new agile product. To me this means that there is a lot of potential to have a real impact in the sector, and it’s therefore a really exciting time to join the team."
