Kevin Ling

December 2009

All of our White Papers and Case Studies are subject to the following Terms of Use.

In 2007 Suffolk County Council started a major transformation programme called 'Securing the Future' to tackle significant budget challenges. As part of this programme a number of specialist support functions were established in April 2008, including a central Programme and Project Management (PPM) team. The new version will be applied to live projects and will improve the training and support we provide to board members, project teams and senior managers.

Good example of how to implement PRINCE2 and tailor them according to the organization's objectives. Again, this case study gives the focus to the fact that everyone within the organization should be enlightened about PRINCE2 in order to make the implementation a success.

Would be interested to hear how the integration of Prince2 into the Programme Management has been. This is now over 10 years old but would have been good to hear what the organisation learnt once these changes were embedded.
